The background music seems to be a California Surf Guitar that is pretty annoying. I'm trying to watch this video for a 2nd time but not sure I can handle the music. Next. All of the scientists are so hot and bothered to find traces of primitive, ancient life like microbes on Mars. Life on another planet would certainly change our perspective. But then again, with 300 Billion Stars (most of these stars are much smaller and dimmer than our Sun) in just our Milky Way Galaxy, there's gotta be another Earth out there with complex, maybe even intelligent life. What are the odds? Also, I think we need to wait on a spaceship that can rotate and create 1 G for the astronauts on there way to Mars. Otherwise they will be skin and bones when they return to Earth and adapting to gravity would be so difficult. Also, what about all of the radiation exposure/solar wind? Will they be protected? Hats off to anyone brave enough to withstand launch and 3 G,s and have left Earth's atmosphere to enter orbit. After watching the 2 Space Shuttle (Challenger and Columbia) break up and crashes, there is no way in hell I would ride a rocket into space. 17,600 mph to reach orbit.

Think about it... what would happen now if Mars n Venus became habitable planets like earth and formed their own intelligent creatures. Star Wars everyday? It’s good to be alone

Steve Squyres looks like Owen Wilson.

People should concentrate on life on earth and on solving the world's problems before spending time, money and ressources on a suicide manned mission to Mars! Besides that first they should try getting to the Moon and build a permanent lunar base!

I can imagine,at the far future, maybe during the year 10,017 and beyond, maybe the one who's gonna call me an ancestor (my relatives on that time),they might be there when humanity reaches the nearest star, and when humans terraformed Mars,or when humans reached the nearest habitable planet that is out there, and maybe space cities inside a globe like glass with a huge oxygen producer will be inside.I would want to be alive on that times, but That can't happen 😭😭
