At frame 1:42 - 1:52, the backdrop (sky) goes black. Why? The filming is taking place from the ground. It should remain blue. Did this mission have something to do with the Hawaii Missile Alert? We are due for a false flag attack.

I understand that but $400 million is too much when SpaceX can do the same thing for less money.

That entire bottom of that rocket was saturated with gas vapor. This reminds me of when you have a late ignition on the backyard propane BBQ grill. Lol

wth... What are those tiny boosters for?
Shitty camera.
Also, all suits in the control center and on commentator? Seriously?
It feels like I'm watching Morse code masters: good skill, but obsolete.

How to repaint your rocket black in 5 seconds

Living near Cape Canaveral, I'm used to Space-X style launch and see the boosters return and land followed by a double sonic boom. I kinda had the thought, "What's wrong with the boosters?" as they fell, twirling away from the launch vehicle...a paradigm shift in space travel. Kinda like when I put my hands under a manual faucet to wash my hands and wonder "What's wrong with this faucet????" The future is coming for us :-)

Some of the commentators these days are WAY too excited about the countdown and "Liftoff!", to the point that they fuck it up completely. How about getting someone who isn't a rocket nerd to the nth degree to do the commentary, so it's done with a normal pulse.

This time the ULA livestream was actually pretty cool with all the interviews and a sypathic host.

I agree, I've never seen such a big flame up. I thought it was gonna blow. Any word of the cause ?
