Beautiful movie, not about what I espected, but about amazing parenting, that made me feel truly jealous. When parents push you to be free and become what you are, instead of protecting you from life, love and society....

This is why straight men should NOT review gay films. Chris obviously is too ignorant to understand the conflict is the closet.

I was asking myself about the flies too! 😊 Thanks for your views!

Fate and time are already huge obstacles, more than anything. That’s why it drew all of our attention. A+!

Call me by Your Name is very sensual, erotic, ethereal, and a graceful beauty of an art film.

The fly thing ..too over there!! Timothee Chalamet said himself that they didn't even notice that there was a fly on the last scene

they don't have many things to worry about, not alot of obstacles? er the year this romance was happening was in italt in the 80's.. ya. how much more obstacles do they need? I feel like no more obstacles were needed and same with oliver. I think it was intentional. I felt you learned around about him, he was hesitant and certain liners from the character tells you alot about him "I've been good" or when you get's paranoid to try and figure out if elio would hold it against him. the way he kept himself from elio till he gave him or his remark about his father would send him to a correctional facility tells you alot about his choices and actions.

Thanks about the flies mentions, the movie in my opinion was perfect minus the flies, but now that changes that.

I don't think there need more obstacles. This movie is so bloody perfect and so so so very raw and realistic. One of the best I've seen in several years

I walked out of this after about an hour. Slow is OK. Slow and pointless, not so much.

Worst movie of all time without question

I like his reviews sometimes but a lot of the time, Chris's reviews coincide with the general consensus. If the public or critics love the movie, then he loves the movie. If people hate the movie, then he hates the movie. The shape of Water is an example of that, it's incredibly overrated.
